The battle begins

But isn’t it clear

Before I begin 

I know you are near 

 

The battle begins 

But the fight is won

And the fun is done 

 

I’m fighting I’m tense 

Yet a peace is within 

I struggle to make sense

Yet you speak for me again 

 

This is no fun game 

But with you i am pleased 

What it is I wish 

I will lay at your feet 

 

You’ve completed my work

Yes you’ve done it already

The blessings are flowing 

The blessings are many 

 

The battle begins 

But the pain it won’t last 

It doesn’t compare 

To what’s in store. That’s a fact
