Rhythm of a Song Tab

Capo 3rd fret

Main Riff : C - Am - G - CMaj7

Notes: The C Maj7 chord is heard. It's tabbed out as 3-3-5-4-5-3. This is the 4th chord in the main riff. Now lets chat about how we're using our pinky and pointer to make the riff sound good. Our 4 chords are C, Am, G, and CMaj7. Make sure your thumb is hitting the bass note (E) for the CMaj7. Now your first chord is actually a Cadd9 because your pinky is on the 3rd fret of the B string, making the chord 0-3-2-0-3-0. To make it sound like the song, while you are playing the riff, you need to let go of your pinky, bringing you to a C, and then lift up your pointer bringing you to a funny version of a CMaj7 which is tabbed as 0-3-2-0-0-0, and then simply hammer on your pointer to give you a C. For your Am do the exact same thing on that B string as you did with your C chord. Your G chord is tabbed as 3-2-0-0-1-0, lift up your pointer giving you 3-2-0-0-0-0 and hammer it back to 3-2-0-0-1-0. Have fun!

VERSE
Walking by a deep, deep river when viewed from the sky.
I wondered how long it could run, and maybe from this flight.
My view from the sky, is perfectly high.
It's perfectly high enough.
And on the ride, I finaly realized that the most we could do is already done for us.
So I'll leave it as I found it. Lets leave it as we found it.

CHORUS
C - Em - F - G
Everyone knows. Life gets better as it goes.
Leave my words in bold.
Don't it feel so cool.
In the rhythm of a song, I heard a melody.
And it stopped me in my feet.

VERSE
C - Am - G - CMaj7
So you know that it, well it wont be soon.
But while we wait.
All our problems can sail away and as we crawl into the open air.
I love to be the one to share.
Because the wind is getting thin and the finish line within well you know.
That it isn't really all that far.
So I'll just keep on keeping on.
I'll just keep on reaching up. I'll just keep on reaching.
Higher, higher, higher to the stars.

CHORUS
C - Em - F - G
Cuz everyone knows that life gets better as it goes.
So leave my words in bold.
And don't it feel so cool.
And in the rhythm of a song I heard a melody I did.
And it stopped me in my feet.
